Nancy Lemire, D.C.
Dr. Nancy Lemire has been a licensed Chiropractor since 1991. She initially earned a Bachelor of Science B.S. in Nutrition with a minor in Physical Fitness from the University of Rhode Island. After graduation, she headed to California to work for her sister, also a Chiropractor. While working in her clinic as a front desk receptionist, she caught the “bug” and decided to go to Chiropractic college herself. While attending Palmer- West Chiropractic College, she met Dr. Brett, who was a few semesters ahead of her. Their common interests in running and biking as well as the sharing the demands of Chiropractic college, made their relationship enjoyable and lasting. Dr. Nancy graduated at the top of her class in 1990 and headed up to Sacramento to continue their life together. They married in 1992 and have 2 sons.
The Lemires have worked together now for over 30 years. They have consistently grown their practice to include other complementary and effective therapeutic services. The combination of their individual strengths has helped them create a health and wellness clinic that provides high quality care under one roof.
Dr. Nancy’s areas of focus include teaching postural awareness and correction, foam rolling for uprighting and limbering, corrective exercise and the use of cold lasers (low level light therapy) to promote reduction of pain, edema and inflammation and faster healing. She loves helping people feel, move and age better. Like Dr. Brett, she knows the importance of moving well and often throughout our lives to maintain health and wellness. She enjoys educating and motivating patients to take action.
